Apostasy Watch Bible Study 11/14/08

BobbiLyn: Ho 4:6 ¶ My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
BobbiLyn: 1Pe 5:8 ¶ Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
1Pe 5:9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
BobbiLyn: 1Pe 5:10 ¶ But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
BobbiLyn: 2Co 2:10 To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ;
2Co 2:11 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.
BobbiLyn: Job 1:6 ¶ Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.
BobbiLyn: Job 1:7 And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
BobbiLyn: Job 1:8 And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?
BobbiLyn: Job 1:9 Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?
BobbiLyn: Job 1:10 Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.
BobbiLyn: Job 1:11 But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face.
BobbiLyn: Job 1:12 And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD.
BobbiLyn: Job 32:1 ¶ So these three men ceased to answer Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.
BobbiLyn: Eph 6:10 ¶ Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
BobbiLyn: Eph 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
BobbiLyn: Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
BobbiLyn: Eph 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
BobbiLyn: Eph 6:14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
Eph 6:15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
BobbiLyn: Eph 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
Eph 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
BobbiLyn: Eph 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
BobbiLyn: Jas 3:6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.
BobbiLyn: Jer 9:8 Their tongue is as an arrow shot out; it speaketh deceit: one speaketh peaceably to his neighbour with his mouth, but in heart he layeth his wait.
BobbiLyn: Mt 16:22 Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee.
BobbiLyn: Mt 16:21 ¶ From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.
BobbiLyn: Mt 16:23 But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.
BobbiLyn: Isa 54:15 Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.
Isa 54:16 Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.
BobbiLyn: Isa 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.
BobbiLyn: Ps 149:6 ¶ Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand;
Ps 149:7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;
BobbiLyn: Ps 149:8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;
Ps 149:9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.
BobbiLyn: Ps 149:5 Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.
BobbiLyn: Ps 1:1 ¶ Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
Ps 1:2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
BobbiLyn: Ps 1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
Ps 1:4 ¶ The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away
BobbiLyn: Ps 1:5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
Ps 1:6 For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
BobbiLyn: Ps 140:1 ¶ To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. Deliver me, O LORD, from the evil man: preserve me from the violent man;
Ps 140:2 Which imagine mischiefs in their heart; continually are they gathered together for war.
BobbiLyn: Ps 140:3 They have sharpened their tongues like a serpent; adders' poison is under their lips. Selah.
Ps 140:4 Keep me, O LORD, from the hands of the wicked; preserve me from the violent man; who have purposed to overthrow my goings.
BobbiLyn: Ps 140:5 The proud have hid a snare for me, and cords; they have spread a net by the wayside; they have set gins for me. Selah.
Ps 140:6 I said unto the LORD, Thou art my God: hear the voice of my supplications, O LORD.
BobbiLyn: Ps 140:7 O GOD the Lord, the strength of my salvation, thou hast covered my head in the day of battle.
Ps 140:8 ¶ Grant not, O LORD, the desires of the wicked: further not his wicked device; lest they exalt themselves. Selah.
BobbiLyn: Ps 140:9 As for the head of those that compass me about, let the mischief of their own lips cover them.
Ps 140:10 Let burning coals fall upon them: let them be cast into the fire; into deep pits, that they rise not up again.
BobbiLyn: Ps 140:11 Let not an evil speaker be established in the earth: evil shall hunt the violent man to overthrow him.
Ps 140:12 I know that the LORD will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and the right of the poor.
Ps 140:13 Surely the righteous shall give thanks unto thy name: the upright shall dwell in thy presence.
