Urgent Prayer Request!!

Please pray for Sarah. She is my sisters friend. Sarah's husband is abusing her. Sarah told her husband that she had to leave the situation. He responded by waking her up from sleep with a knife in his hand. To make it short, Sarah is now in the hospital, he cut her wrist and stabbed her in the belly. It made a gash in her kidneys and they will have to be removed. I guess she will be on dialisis (sp??) for life. Sarah is not a christian. I do not have direct contact with her. She is in Florida all alone. No one will come to visit her. My sister wants to, but is not able. Sarahs mother is deceased and her father is beyond broke that he could not go and see her even if he wanted to. I am not sure that her father even knows she is lying in the hospital right now. Matthew 10:37-39
He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

Matthew 16:24Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

The above verses have so many other verses backing them. In this day and age the "church" teaches that "It's ALL about me". "How to be a better you", "Your best life now", etc. and such like things. Others outside of the harlot church are gathering at home fellowships and I've seen a similar selfish controlling spirit while attending. My wife and I attended a fellowship this past Saturday and found that those in attendance desire to keep their guns regardless the cost. If the government wants to take their guns they will die fighting...they also were leading in the direction that we should fight against the "New World Order". When I questioned them they told me they fight by educating others about the "New World Order" but throughout the bible study I noticed alot of hypocritical statements... As far as I see things in the body of Christ, we have no rights at all (humanly speaking) and the only right we do have is to die so He (Jesus Christ) can live His life through us completely.

Praise Report on Al!

Thank you for your prayers. Al came home from the hospital today. He will be off his feet for three months. He is on the mend! Praise God!

Please pray for my husband, Allan. He was involved in a serious car wreck this afternoon. His right leg is shattered and he has a lot of chest injuries. His ribs are broken, his sternum is broken and his heart is bruised. He's 71 years old. Thank you.

The Incorruptibles

I watched Hannity's America on Fox, Sunday night, 10/14, and they did a piece in the segment called "Beyond Belief" entitled "The Incorruptibles."
I had never heard of this term before. This comes from the Catholic church.
According to the Catholic church, these people were declared saints and their bodies did not decay.
So far there is no scientific explanation for this. My thought is could this be part of the "Lying signs and wonders" as spoken of in Matthew 24:25 "For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect."

My brother Shawn is having problems with his jaw. His health insurance will not kick in till next month some time, so he is not able to go to the doctors. Please pray that God would either heal him, or enable Shawn to get that insurance started up very soon!

Oprah - "Silence is the Only True Religion"

Yesterday Oprah's guest, Elizabeth Gilbert, author of a best-selling book, "Eat, Pray, Love" told of her journey to find inner peace. She left her husband and her life behind and travelled to Italy where she learned how to "eat;" then her journey took her to India where she found what she came to call "the only true religion": the silence (i.e., meditation). Ms. Gilbert told of an experience she had while living at an Indian ashram during a meditation session where she contacted something that she described as lights, auras, noises, drums. She said it was frightening. She said she felt she was standing in the palm of god. Ms. Gilbert stated that there is a Yoga position she practices where she is forced to touch her left ear down to her shoulder.

This is another example of someone looking for the meaning of life and being led on a path to destruction. There is no doubt that what she contacted during her meditation was demonic.
I would like to reach Ms. Gilbert and those who are looking for the "meaning of life" and inner peace to tell them that without Jesus there is no peace. Turn to Him and confess that you are a sinner, destined for Hell. Examine yourself and read Psalm 51

1 Have mercy on me, O God,
according to your unfailing love;
according to your great compassion
blot out my transgressions.
2 Wash away all my iniquity
and cleanse me from my sin.
3 For I know my transgressions,
and my sin is always before me.
4 Against you, you only, have I sinned
and done what is evil in your sight,

sinful from the time my mother conceived me.
6 Surely you desire truth in the inner parts ;
you teach me wisdom in the inmost place.

Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega; the Beginning and the End. He created the earth and the people who inhabit it. Only He has the secret of life and inner peace. You don't need to travel the world to discover how to restore your relationship with God, and to be forgiven and find lasting peace! It's a journey that is wonderful, that will last a lifetime and then go on into eternity!
