A Salute to the Almighty

compiled by Tom Stewart

To the "King Eternal, Immortal, Invisible, the Only Wise God" (1Timothy 1:17).

To the "High and Lofty One That Inhabiteth Eternity" (Isaiah 57:15).

To "Jesus Christ, Who is the Faithful Witness, and the First Begotten of the Dead, and the Prince of the Kings of the Earth. Unto Him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood" (Revelation 1:5).

To the "Judge of All the Earth" (Genesis 18:25).

To Him that quickeneth and strengtheneth "with might by His Spirit" (Ephesians 3:16).

To "Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us" (Ephesians 3:20).

To "Him that is able to keep [us] from falling, and to present [us] faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy" (1:24).

To the Thrice Holy, Triune God be all "glory and honour and power" (Revelation 4:11).

"Blessed be the Name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are His" (Daniel 2:20).

"Blessed be the God and Father of our LORD Jesus Christ, Who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in Heavenly Places in Christ" (Ephesians 1:3).

We gratefully acknowledge that what we have experienced to this day is altogether due to Thy beneficence. And, we refuse to offer to Thee, that which would cost us nothing. Our hearts, our hands, and all that we hope to be are pledged to Thee to dispose of as Thou seest fit. All Hail to the Great God!

"Blessed be His glorious Name for ever: and let the whole Earth be filled with His glory; Amen, and Amen" (Psalm 72:19).

Creeky, what a blessing to see this on your blog. I was reading the glory of Jesus and for the first time in my walk with Jesus I see how He has blessed us with spiritual blessing in Heavenly Places. What a blessing it is for God to give us His desires to seek His Holiness. For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Love you sis, Sue
