dan_o_mace: sa 50:1 A Psalm of Asaph. The mighty God, even the LORD, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.
dan_o_mace: Psa 50:2 Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined.
dan_o_mace: Psa 50:3 Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.
dan_o_mace: Psa 50:4 He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people.
dan_o_mace: Psa 50:5 Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.
dan_o_mace: Psa 50:6 And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself. Selah.
dan_o_mace: Psa 50:7 Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee: I am God, even thy God.
dan_o_mace: Psa 50:8 I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices or thy burnt offerings, to have been continually before me.
dan_o_mace: Psa 50:9 I will take no bullock out of thy house, nor he goats out of thy folds.
dan_o_mace: Psa 50:10 For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills.
dan_o_mace: Psa 50:11 I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine.
dan_o_mace: Psa 50:12 If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fullness thereof.
dan_o_mace: Psa 50:13 Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?
dan_o_mace: Psa 50:14 Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High:
dan_o_mace: Psa 50:15 And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.
dan_o_mace: Psa 50:16 But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth?
dan_o_mace: Psa 50:17 Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee.
dan_o_mace: Psa 50:18 When thou sawest a thief, then thou consentedst with him, and hast been partaker with adulterers.
dan_o_mace: Psa 50:19 Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit.
dan_o_mace: Psa 50:20 Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother's son.
dan_o_mace: Psa 50:21 These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such a one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes.
dan_o_mace: Psa 50:22 Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver.
dan_o_mace: Psa 50:23 Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I show the salvation of God.
dan_o_mace: 1Co 1:18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
dan_o_mace: 1Co 1:19 For it is written: "I WILL DESTROY THE WISDOM OF THE WISE, AND BRING TO NOTHING THE UNDERSTANDING OF THE PRUDENT."
dan_o_mace: sa 29:13 Therefore the Lord said: "Inasmuch as these people draw near with their mouths And honor Me with their lips, But have removed their hearts far from Me, And their fear toward Me is taught by the commandment of men,
dan_o_mace: Isa 29:14 Therefore, behold, I will again do a marvelous work Among this people, A marvelous work and a wonder; For the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, And the understanding of their prudent men shall be hidden."
dan_o_mace: Isa 29:9 Pause and wonder! Blind yourselves and be blind! They are drunk, but not with wine; They stagger, but not with intoxicating drink.
dan_o_mace: Isa 29:10 For the LORD has poured out on you The spirit of deep sleep, And has closed your eyes, namely, the prophets; And He has covered your heads, namely, the seers.
dan_o_mace: Isa 29:11 The whole vision has become to you like the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one who is literate, saying, "Read this, please." And he says, "I cannot, for it is sealed."
dan_o_mace: Isa 29:12 Then the book is delivered to one who is illiterate, saying, "Read this, please." And he says, "I am not literate."
dan_o_mace: Isa 29:13 Therefore the Lord said: "Inasmuch as these people draw near with their mouths And honor Me with their lips, But have removed their hearts far from Me, And their fear toward Me is taught by the commandment of men,
dan_o_mace: 1Co 1:20 Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
dan_o_mace: 1Co 1:21 For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe.
dan_o_mace: 1Co 1:22 For Jews request a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom;
dan_o_mace: 1Co 1:23 but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness,
dan_o_mace: Act 17:21 For all the Athenians and the foreigners who were there spent their time in nothing else but either to tell or to hear some new thing.
dan_o_mace: Act 17:22 Then Paul stood in the midst of the Areopagus and said, "Men of Athens, I perceive that in all things you are very religious;
dan_o_mace: 1Co 1:23 but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness,
dan_o_mace: 1Co 1:24 but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.
dan_o_mace: 1Co 1:25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
dan_o_mace: 1Co 1:26 For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called.

dan_o_mace: 1Co 2:15 But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one.
dan_o_mace: 1Co 2:16 For "WHO HAS KNOWN THE MIND OF THE LORD THAT HE MAY INSTRUCT HIM?" But we have the mind of Christ.
dan_o_mace: 1Co 3:18 Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise.
dan_o_mace: 1Co 3:19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, "HE CATCHES THE WISE IN THEIR OWN CRAFTINESS";
dan_o_mace: 1Co 3:20 and again, "THE LORD KNOWS THE THOUGHTS OF THE WISE, THAT THEY ARE FUTILE."
dan_o_mace: 1Co 3:21 Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours:
dan_o_mace: 1Co 3:22 whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas, or the world or life or death, or things present or things to come—all are yours.
