Bible Study Notes - Apostasy Watch - Nov. 16, 2007

Lumster: Rev 5:8-14
dan_o_mace: Rev 5:8 Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.
dan_o_mace: Rev 5:9 And they sang a new song, saying: "You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,
dan_o_mace: Rev 5:10 And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth."
dan_o_mace: Rev 5:11 Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands,
dan_o_mace: Rev 5:12 saying with a loud voice: "Worthy is the Lamb who was slain To receive power and riches and wisdom, And strength and honor and glory and blessing!"
dan_o_mace: Rev 5:13 And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying: "Blessing and honor and glory and power Be to Him who sits on the throne, And to the Lamb, forever and ever!"
dan_o_mace: Rev 5:14 Then the four living creatures said, "Amen!" And the twenty-four elders fell down and worshiped Him who lives forever and ever.
dan_o_mace: sound?
dan_o_mace: 1
dan_o_mace: yes
dan_o_mace: Eph 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,
dan_o_mace: Eph 2:9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.
dan_o_mace: Eph 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
dan_o_mace: Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.
dan_o_mace: Rom 1:17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH."
dan_o_mace: Gal 1:6 I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel,
dan_o_mace: Gal 1:7 which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ.
dan_o_mace: Gal 2:21 I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain."
dan_o_mace: Joh 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:
dan_o_mace: Gal 5:4 You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.
dan_o_mace: Heb 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
dan_o_mace: Heb 4:15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.
dan_o_mace: Heb 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
dan_o_mace: eb 10:26 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,
dan_o_mace: Heb 10:27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries.
dan_o_mace: Heb 10:28 Anyone who has rejected Moses' law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.
dan_o_mace: Heb 10:29 Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace?
dan_o_mace: Jas 4:6 But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: "GOD RESISTS THE PROUD, BUT GIVES GRACE TO THE HUMBLE."
dan_o_mace: Jas 4:7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
dan_o_mace: Jas 4:8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
dan_o_mace: Jas 4:1 Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members?
dan_o_mace: Jas 4:2 You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask.
dan_o_mace: Jas 4:3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.
dan_o_mace: Jas 4:4 Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
dan_o_mace: Jas 4:5 Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, "The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously"?
dan_o_mace: Jud 1:4 For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ.
dan_o_mace: 2Ti 3:1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:
dan_o_mace: 2Ti 3:2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
dan_o_mace: 2Ti 3:3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good,
dan_o_mace: 2Ti 3:4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
dan_o_mace: 2Ti 3:5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!
