Scripture References for 4/11/08 Bible Study

dan_o_mace: 2Pe 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
dan_o_mace: 2Pe 2:2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
dan_o_mace: 2Pe 2:3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.
dan_o_mace: 2Pe 2:3 By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber.
dan_o_mace: 2Pe 2:4 For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment;
dan_o_mace: 2Pe 2:5 and did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the ungodly;
dan_o_mace: 2Pe 2:6 and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those who afterward would live ungodly;
dan_o_mace: 2Pe 2:7 and delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked
dan_o_mace: 2Pe 2:8 (for that righteous man, dwelling among them, tormented his righteous soul from day to day by seeing and hearing their lawless deeds)—
dan_o_mace: 2Pe 2:9 then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment,
dan_o_mace: 2Pe 2:10 and especially those who walk according to the flesh in the lust of uncleanness and despise authority. They are presumptuous, self-willed. They are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries,
dan_o_mace: 2Pe 2:11 whereas angels, who are greater in power and might, do not bring a reviling accusation against them before the Lord.
dan_o_mace: Mat 6:14 "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
dan_o_mace: Mat 6:15 But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
dan_o_mace: Rom 8:4 that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
dan_o_mace: Mat 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
dan_o_mace: Mat 28:20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.
dan_o_mace: Jesus said it best: "weeping and gnashing of teeth".
dan_o_mace: Heb 5:12 For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food.
dan_o_mace: Heb 5:11 of whom we have much to say, and hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing.
dan_o_mace: Heb 5:12 For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food.
dan_o_mace: Heb 5:13 For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe.
dan_o_mace: Heb 5:14 But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
dan_o_mace: Heb 6:1 Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God,
BobbiLyn: Famine in the land
dan_o_mace: Heb 6:2 of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
dan_o_mace: Joh 15:1 "I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.
dan_o_mace: Joh 15:2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.
dan_o_mace: Joh 15:3 You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.
dan_o_mace: Joh 15:4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.
dan_o_mace: Joh 15:5 "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.
dan_o_mace: Joh 15:6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.
BobbiLyn: Mt 26:28
For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
BobbiLyn: Mr 14:24
And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.
dan_o_mace: Eph 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,
dan_o_mace: Eph 2:9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.
dan_o_mace: Rom 5:1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
dan_o_mace: Rom 5:2 through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
dan_o_mace: From Patience_Sue: Romans 7:9 For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.
dan_o_mace: Rev 14:1 Then I looked, and behold, a Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His Father's name written on their foreheads.
dan_o_mace: Rev 14:2 And I heard a voice from heaven, like the voice of many waters, and like the voice of loud thunder. And I heard the sound of harpists playing their harps.
dan_o_mace: Rev 14:4 These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These were redeemed from among men, being firstfruits to God and to the Lamb.
dan_o_mace: Rev 14:5 And in their mouth was found no deceit, for they are without fault before the throne of God.
dan_o_mace: Amen
dan_o_mace: Jas 2:14 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him?
dan_o_mace: Jas 2:15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food,
dan_o_mace: Jas 2:16 and one of you says to them, "Depart in peace, be warmed and filled," but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit?
dan_o_mace: Jas 2:17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
dan_o_mace: Jas 2:18 But someone will say, "You have faith, and I have works." Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.
dan_o_mace: Jas 2:19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble!
dan_o_mace: Jas 2:20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?
dan_o_mace: Jas 2:21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar?
dan_o_mace: Jas 2:22 Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect?
dan_o_mace: Jas 2:23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, "ABRAHAM BELIEVED GOD, AND IT WAS ACCOUNTED TO HIM FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS." And he was called the friend of God.
dan_o_mace: Jas 2:24 You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.

dan_o_mace: Psa 5:5 The boastful shall not stand in Your sight; You hate all workers of iniquity.
dan_o_mace: Psa 5:6 You shall destroy those who speak falsehood; The LORD abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful man.
dan_o_mace: Psa 5:7 But as for me, I will come into Your house in the multitude of Your mercy; In fear of You I will worship toward Your holy temple.
dan_o_mace: Psa 5:8 Lead me, O LORD, in Your righteousness because of my enemies; Make Your way straight before my face.
dan_o_mace: Psa 5:9 For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; Their inward part is destruction; Their throat is an open tomb; They flatter with their tongue.
dan_o_mace: Psa 5:12 For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield.
dan_o_mace: Psa 5:10 Pronounce them guilty, O God! Let them fall by their own counsels; Cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions, For they have rebelled against You.
dan_o_mace: Psa 5:11 But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; Let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them; Let those also who love Your name Be joyful in You.
dan_o_mace: Psa 5:12 For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield.
dan_o_mace: Amen
BobbiLyn: Question, does the blood of Jesus cover all sins past, present and future?
dan_o_mace: Mat 18:21 Then Peter came to Him and said, "Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?"
dan_o_mace: Mat 18:22 Jesus said to him, "I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.
dan_o_mace: Mat 18:23 Therefore the kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants.
dan_o_mace: Mat 18:24 And when he had begun to settle accounts, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents.
dan_o_mace: Mat 18:25 But as he was not able to pay, his master commanded that he be sold, with his wife and children and all that he had, and that payment be made.
dan_o_mace: Mat 18:26 The servant therefore fell down before him, saying, 'Master, have patience with me, and I will pay you all.'
dan_o_mace: Mat 18:27 Then the master of that servant was moved with compassion, released him, and forgave him the debt.
dan_o_mace: Mat 18:28 "But that servant went out and found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii; and he laid hands on him and took him by the throat, saying, 'Pay me what you owe!'
dan_o_mace: Mat 18:29 So his fellow servant fell down at his feet and begged him, saying, 'Have patience with me, and I will pay you all.'
dan_o_mace: Mat 18:30 And he would not, but went and threw him into prison till he should pay the debt.
dan_o_mace: Mat 18:31 So when his fellow servants saw what had been done, they were very grieved, and came and told their master all that had been done.
dan_o_mace: Mat 18:31 So when his fellow servants saw what had been done, they were very grieved, and came and told their master all that had been done.
dan_o_mace: Mat 18:33 Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant, just as I had pity on you?'
dan_o_mace: Mat 18:34 And his master was angry, and delivered him to the torturers until he should pay all that was due to him.
dan_o_mace: Mat 18:35 "So My heavenly Father also will do to you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother his trespasses."
dan_o_mace: Heb 10:26 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,
dan_o_mace: Heb 10:27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries.
dan_o_mace: Heb 10:28 Anyone who has rejected Moses' law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.
dan_o_mace: Heb 10:29 Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace?
dan_o_mace: Heb 10:30 For we know Him who said, "VENGEANCE IS MINE, I WILL REPAY," says the Lord. And again, "THE LORD WILL JUDGE HIS PEOPLE."
dan_o_mace: Mat 12:31 "Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men.
dan_o_mace: Mat 12:32 Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come.
dan_o_mace: Co 10:12 Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.
dan_o_mace: 1Co 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.
SeattlePaulK777: yes
dan_o_mace: Very True
dan_o_mace: 1Co 11:27 Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
dan_o_mace: 1Co 11:28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup.
dan_o_mace: 1Co 11:29 For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.
dan_o_mace: 1Co 11:30 For this reason many are weak and sick among you, and many sleep.
dan_o_mace: 1Co 11:31 For if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged.
dan_o_mace: 1Co 11:32 But when we are judged, we are chastened by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.
SeattlePaulK777: amen
dan_o_mace: Heb 9:6 Now when these things had been thus prepared, the priests always went into the first part of the tabernacle, performing the services.
dan_o_mace: Heb 9:7 But into the second part the high priest went alone once a year, not without blood, which he offered for himself and for the people's sins committed in ignorance;
dan_o_mace: Heb 9:8 the Holy Spirit indicating this, that the way into the Holiest of All was not yet made manifest while the first tabernacle was still standing.
dan_o_mace: Heb 9:9 It was symbolic for the present time in which both gifts and sacrifices are offered which cannot make him who performed the service perfect in regard to the conscience—
dan_o_mace: Heb 9:10 concerned only with foods and drinks, various washings, and fleshly ordinances imposed until the time of reformation.
dan_o_mace: Heb 9:11 But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation.
dan_o_mace: Heb 9:11 But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation.
dan_o_mace: Heb 9:12 Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.
dan_o_mace: Heb 9:13 For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh,
dan_o_mace: Heb 9:14 how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
dan_o_mace: Heb 9:15 And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.
dan_o_mace: Heb 9:16 For where there is a testament, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.
dan_o_mace: Heb 9:17 For a testament is in force after men are dead, since it has no power at all while the testator lives.
dan_o_mace: Rom 7:1 Or do you not know, brethren (for I speak to those who know the law), that the law has dominion over a man as long as he lives?
dan_o_mace: Rom 7:2 For the woman who has a husband is bound by the law to her husband as long as he lives. But if the husband dies, she is released from the law of her husband.
dan_o_mace: Rom 7:3 So then if, while her husband lives, she marries another man, she will be called an adulteress; but if her husband dies, she is free from that law, so that she is no adulteress, though she has married another man.
dan_o_mace: Rom 7:4 Therefore, my brethren, you also have become dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you may be married to another—to Him who was raised from the dead, that we should bear fruit to God.
dan_o_mace: Rom 7:5 For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions which were aroused by the law were at work in our members to bear fruit to death.
dan_o_mace: Rom 7:6 But now we have been delivered from the law, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter.
SeattlePaulK777: right
BobbiLyn: Strive to enter in
dan_o_mace: Rom 7:7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Certainly not! On the contrary, I would not have known sin except through the law. For I would not have known covetousness unless the law had said, "YOU SHALL NOT COVET."
dan_o_mace: Rom 7:8 But sin, taking opportunity by the commandment, produced in me all manner of evil desire. For apart from the law sin was dead
dan_o_mace: Rom 7:8 But sin, taking opportunity by the commandment, produced in me all manner of evil desire. For apart from the law sin was dead
dan_o_mace: Heb 9:16 For where there is a testament, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.
dan_o_mace: Heb 9:17 For a testament is in force after men are dead, since it has no power at all while the testator lives.
dan_o_mace: Heb 9:17 For a testament is in force after men are dead, since it has no power at all while the testator lives.
dan_o_mace: Heb 9:19 For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and goats, with water, scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people,
dan_o_mace: Heb 9:20 saying, "THIS IS THE BLOOD OF THE COVENANT WHICH GOD HAS COMMANDED YOU."
dan_o_mace: Heb 9:21 Then likewise he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle and all the vessels of the ministry.
dan_o_mace: Heb 9:22 And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission.
dan_o_mace: Heb 9:23 Therefore it was necessary that the copies of the things in the heavens should be purified with these, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.
dan_o_mace: Heb 9:24 For Christ has not entered the holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us;
dan_o_mace: Heb 9:25 not that He should offer Himself often, as the high priest enters the Most Holy Place every year with blood of another—
dan_o_mace: Heb 9:26 He then would have had to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now, once at the end of the ages, He has appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself.
dan_o_mace: Heb 9:28 so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.
dan_o_mace: Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment,
SeattlePaulK777: amen
BobbiLyn: Gal 2:19 For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.
BobbiLyn: Gal 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
dan_o_mace: Jas 1:12 Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.
dan_o_mace: Jas 1:13 Let no one say when he is tempted, "I am tempted by God"; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone.
dan_o_mace: Jas 1:14 But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed.
dan_o_mace: Jas 1:15 Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.
dan_o_mace: Jas 1:15 Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.
dan_o_mace: Heb 9:28 so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.
dan_o_mace: Heb 10:1 For the law, having a shadow of the good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with these same sacrifices, which they offer continually year by year, make those who approach perfect.
dan_o_mace: Heb 10:2 For then would they not have ceased to be offered? For the worshipers, once purified, would have had no more consciousness of sins.
dan_o_mace: Heb 10:3 But in those sacrifices there is a reminder of sins every year.
dan_o_mace: Heb 10:4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and goats could take away sins.
dan_o_mace: Heb 10:5 Therefore, when He came into the world, He said: "SACRIFICE AND OFFERING YOU DID NOT DESIRE, BUT A BODY YOU HAVE PREPARED FOR ME.
dan_o_mace: Heb 10:6 IN BURNT OFFERINGS AND SACRIFICES FOR SIN YOU HAD NO PLEASURE.
dan_o_mace: Heb 10:7 THEN I SAID, 'BEHOLD, I HAVE COME— IN THE VOLUME OF THE BOOK IT IS WRITTEN OF ME— TO DO YOUR WILL, O GOD.'
dan_o_mace: Heb 10:8 Previously saying, "SACRIFICE AND OFFERING, BURNT OFFERINGS, AND OFFERINGS FOR SIN YOU DID NOT DESIRE, NOR HAD PLEASURE IN THEM" (which are offered according to the law)
dan_o_mace: Heb 10:9 then He said, "BEHOLD, I HAVE COME TO DO YOUR WILL, O GOD." He takes away the first that He may establish the second.
dan_o_mace: Heb 10:10 By that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
dan_o_mace: Heb 10:11 And every priest stands ministering daily and offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins.
dan_o_mace: Heb 10:12 But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God,
dan_o_mace: Heb 10:13 from that time waiting till His enemies are made His footstool.
dan_o_mace: Heb 10:14 For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.
dan_o_mace: Heb 10:15 But the Holy Spirit also witnesses to us; for after He had said before,
dan_o_mace: Heb 10:16 "THIS IS THE COVENANT THAT I WILL MAKE WITH THEM AFTER THOSE DAYS, SAYS THE LORD: I WILL PUT MY LAWS INTO THEIR HEARTS, AND IN THEIR MINDS I WILL WRITE THEM,"
dan_o_mace: Heb 10:17 then He adds, "THEIR SINS AND THEIR LAWLESS DEEDS I WILL REMEMBER NO MORE."
dan_o_mace: Heb 10:18 Now where there is remission of these, there is no longer an offering for sin.
dan_o_mace: Heb 10:19 Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus,
dan_o_mace: Heb 10:20 by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh,
dan_o_mace: Heb 10:20 by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh,
dan_o_mace: Heb 10:22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.
dan_o_mace: Heb 10:23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.
dan_o_mace: Heb 10:24 And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works,
dan_o_mace: Heb 10:25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
dan_o_mace: Heb 10:26 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,
dan_o_mace: Heb 10:27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries.
BobbiLyn: 1Cr 15:56 The sting of death [is] sin; and the strength of sin [is] the law.
dan_o_mace: Heb 10:28 Anyone who has rejected Moses' law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.
dan_o_mace: Heb 10:29 Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace?
dan_o_mace: Heb 10:30 For we know Him who said, "VENGEANCE IS MINE, I WILL REPAY," says the Lord. And again, "THE LORD WILL JUDGE HIS PEOPLE."
dan_o_mace: Heb 10:31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Prayer Request for Nakia!

I been down about the situation here at my job. The constant harassment and bullying here by the Board of Directors and Unit Owners is beginning to take a toll on me. Today I walked in from being on vacation to find out that my boss was fired.

It has been difficult to work here for months now and I'm asking that you pray for me about the current situation here and that God direct as to what to do in this place. The Board has assured me that they want to keep me on because I am an awesome employee, but I don't know if that's what I want to do. I don't want to do anything at all but hear from God. I need help in this trying time.

dan_o_mace: Dan 9:27 Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. dan_o_mace: Dan 9:26 "And after the sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself; And the people of the prince who is to come Shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end of it shall be with a flood, And till the end of the war desolations are determined.

dan_o_mace: Heb 9:12 Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.
dan_o_mace: Heb 9:13 For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh,
dan_o_mace: Heb 9:14 how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
dan_o_mace: Heb 9:15 And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.
dan_o_mace: Heb 9:16 For where there is a testament, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.

dan_o_mace: Heb 9:18 Therefore not even the first covenant was dedicated without blood.
dan_o_mace: Heb 9:19 For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and goats, with water, scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people,

SeattlePaulK777: Heb 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
SeattlePaulK777: Heb 6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
SeattlePaulK777: Heb 6:2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
SeattlePaulK777: amen
SeattlePaulK777: Rev 11:1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
SeattlePaulK777: Rev 11:2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.
